The Man Behind the Camera
Aaron M. Brown is the creator & photographer behind AROtography based in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
Aaron has always been a creative soul as a child he suffered from a speech impediment and used art as a creative outlet to express himself. Despite always loving art he decided to start a career in the education field focusing on early childhood education and then school-age education. It wasn’t until years later that the returned to his creative ways, first doing minor modeling and acting which led him back to pursuing photography.
As a child, Aaron grew up in a very camera-friendly household. He often remembers his dad always had a camera in his hands at events and how he wanted to be just like his dad taking pictures of everything. During his teenage & young adult years, his mother & father recognized his passion for photography and continuously purchased him cameras & software. Years later he set out to make a name for himself as a photographer and created AROtography, March 2012.
Over the years Aaron has been honored to have his photography used in promotional materials, featured in The Unleashed Voice Magazine, Nov. + Dec. 2017. He's also shot the cover of Prince Jerel’s album, Scorpio as well as shot and designed the cover for Ikonic Tae's album Birth of an Ikon.
